Additional Information: The Water Oak Quilters started in 2007, as a small group of ladies who love to quilt. The club was open to all, whether they knew how to quilt or not.

We started donating quilts in 2008. We donate quilts to Waterman Hospital, Leesburg Hospital, Arnold Palmer Hospital, we have given quilts to the children of the National Guard Unit out of Leesburg, and Veterans going on the Honor Flights.

In 2011 we started giving classes, called Quilting 101, to teach residents to quilt. These classes have been a real success.

We have a lot of fun. Our group is open to all, both women and men. If you would like to see what we are doing, stop in to see us.
