WOVA is a service oriented organization, helping veteran related groups plus local charities. Charities such as The Veterans Organization of Resource & Recovery for the Homeless (V.O.R.R.H.), Fischer House, Operation Shoebox, Wounded Warriors, The Haven to name a few.
We also sponsor three local food banks. We pick up donations of food items and deliver them to the three food banks monthly. We also purchase food items for these if needed by each bank. We raise money for these various projects by holding dinners 2 or 3 times a year.
If you would like to be a member of this worthwhile group, we would love to have you. We meet the first Wednesday of the month from September to May at the Satellite Club House from 1 PM to 3 PM. If you are interested please come to one of our meetings and check us out. The dues are $10.00 per year.
